WEEKLY

Join us at Campbellsville First Methodist Church on Main Street for Gentle Yoga on Mondays from 4-5 PM with Certified Yoga Instructor, Jessie Harden-Calhoun. This class is open to anyone ages 16+ whose body allows them to get on the floor and back up to standing.

We will focus on stress relieving techniques with breath work and full body relaxation, increasing flexibility, and reducing pain. Bring your own mat! Blocks will be provided.

CHAIR YOGA

Chair Yoga class every Wednesday at 10 AM for a free, low impact workout! Please enter First Methodist Church from the First Street entrance.

YOU are invited to join us for breakfast on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 8:30 AM (ET) to 10:00 AM (ET). There is NO charge for breakfast, but donations for our boiler fund are greatly appreciated! Following breakfast, Sisters in Christ will hold their meeting with a special presentation by Green River Ministries and EVERYONE is welcome to attend.

THE GAD-ABOUTS WILL BE GOING TO KENNY'S FARMHOUSE CHEESE ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2025 IN AUSTIN (NOT TEXAS) KENTUCKY.

LUNCH WILL BE AT NANNIE JO'S RESTAURANT IN FOUNTAIN RUN, KENTUCKY.

THERE IS NO COST TO RIDE THE CHURCH VAN, TOUR THE FARM/GIFT SHOP AND LUNCH IS SELF-PAY. HOWEVER, RESERVATIONS TO RIDE THE VAN ARE REQUIRED AND ARE ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. THE VAN WILL LEAVE THE CHURCH AT 9:30 AM (ET).

FYI: This is an annual event that happens every year on the third (3rd) Sunday in September.

ALL ABOARD!!!

WHAT: Vintage railroad car serving up American meals during a scenic rail journey beginning in Bardstown, KY. The trip includes a 2 hour, 35-mile round-trip excursion, a gourmet, three-course meal prepared fresh onboard, and all non-alcoholic beverages, including after dinner coffee and tea

COST: $112.72 per person for rail journey, meal, tax and gratuity; Reservations must be made, dinner choices made and tickets must be PAID for, NO LATER than Sunday, August 31, 2025. Your reservation is transferable, but NOT refundable.

WHEN: Train ride and meal takes place on Wednesday, October 29, 2025

TRANSPORTATION: There is no charge to ride the church van to the train in Bardstown, but reservations are REQUIRED no later than Sunday, August 31, 2025 because seating is limited. Seating is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. The van leaves the church at 9:00 AM (ET).

MY OLD KENTUCKY HOME

Join the Gad-Abouts at MY OLD KENTUCKY HOME for a "MERRY AND BRIGHT CHRISTMAS TOUR" on Tuesday, November 18, 2025!!

WHAT: Merry and Bright Christmas Tour at MY OLD KENTUCKY HOME! Lunch will then be at the Talbot Inn following the tour.

COST: Tour cost is $14 and Lunch is Self-Pay.

WHEN: Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Tour is at 10:00 AM (ET) at My Old Kentucky Home. Lunch will immediately follow the tour at 12:00 PM (ET) and will be held at the Talbott Inn in Bardstown.

TRANSPORTATION: There is no cost to ride the church van, but seating is limited on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserve your seat by calling Patti Brockman at 270-789-7608. The van will leave the church at 9:00 AM (ET). You may also drive yourself to My Old Kentucky Home and the Talbott Inn The tour begins at 10:00 AM (ET).
